YMCA Early Years Programs

Father and Child Playing Together

Purposeful learning opportunities contribute significantly to a child's capacity to learn, supporting brain development and language and literacy skills through early learning experiences and speech and language supports.

Children learn through play. Children's play provides the foundations for language and literacy, mathematics, science and technology and for the arts. YMCA Early Years programs provide opportunity for each child to explore and learn through a variety of play environments, creating building blocks for a foundation of academic success.

School and Child Care connections prepare children and parents by participating in early learning activities based on the curriculum.  Children and families benefit from learning and practicing social competency skills while increasing awareness and understanding of the Kindergarten program, ensuring children are ready for school.

Children learn and explore through a variety of play environments creating building blocks for a foundation of academic success.

Childbirth Education Classes and Pre/Postnatal programs provide expecting parents support during this important stage of their life.
