Early Years staff and partners work together to provide a "one stop shop" of support allowing parents and caregivers to access community resources and get answers to questions. The screening tools and resources available support children and families in early identification and intervention.

Literacy
The Early Literacy Specialist supports and promotes early language development by providing a variety of services and resources to teachers, parents, and other professionals in the community.
Early Years Data Analysis
The Data Analysis Specialist supports community organizations in evidence-based program planning as well as offers presentations and training to community professionals on topics related to early child development.
18 Month Well-Baby Check Up
18 months is a critical stage in a child's development.
All 18 month old children in Ontarion are now eligible to receive this enhanced visit. The improved visit provides a greater opportunity for parents to talk more with their health care provider about healthy child development at this essential stage. For parents, it means a more detailed discussion abou their child with their family physician or other health care provider.
